A casual envelope bag that's perfect for tossing in a few items. Pin on a silk flower - or one you've knit yourself - for a stylish look.

Materials:

  • Size 15 needles
  • 3 Skeins Araucana Nature Cotton (These may all be the same, or you may decide to mix colors.)

    • Directions

    1.

    Holding three strands together, cast on 21 stitches.Knit 6 rows.

    2.

    K7, bind off 7, k7.

    3.

    K7, cast on 7 (turn work and use a cable cast-on), K7.

    4.

    Knit 52 rows.

    5.

    K7,bind off 7, K7.

    6.

    K7, cast on 7, K7.

    7.

    Knit 6 rows and bind off loosely. Seam up sides.
